Investing in Iowa's Financial Well-Being
Based on the findings of ICUF's 2023 Economic Realities of Communities of Color report, a multi-year commitment was made to address barriers to financial well-being across Iowa.

The ICUF Financial Inclusion Grant Program will direct funding to organizations that are enhancing financial inclusion and improving financial well-being for minority populations in Iowa in the areas of: affordable housing, business ownership, childcare, education, employment, and health access and outcomes.

Grant Process
Iowa credit unions must nominate community organizations for those organizations to be eligible to apply for grants. Credit union nominations are being accepted through June 20.
Nominated organizations passing ICUF's eligibility criteria and program evaluation will be invited to apply for grants in the $5,000 - $10,000 range.
ICUF will review grant applications and disburse grants directly to awarded organizations to fund work improving the financial well-being of minorities.
