Iowa Credit Union Foundation has Provided More Than 4.5 Million in Local Impact
The Iowa Credit Union Foundation (ICUF), the philanthropic arm of the Iowa Credit Union League, has invested more than $4.5 million in programs, initiatives and grants to lift up the financial well-being of Iowans since inception 25 years ago.
Founded in 1995 to aid in recovery from the floods of ‘93, the COVID-19 pandemic and derecho storm disaster this year underscored the critical need for the Foundation 25 years later.
“Our Foundation was formed after a disaster and it continues to help people financially navigate uncertain times,” said Jamie Miller, Executive Director of ICUF. “While disaster aid is still very much a part of who we are, we have expanded to programs promoting financial literacy, college scholarships and much more. It is very humbling to look back over the past 25 years at just how far we’ve come and how many lives we’ve impacted with our programs.”

'People Helping People' Financial Coach Training Program

This online training is an immersive deep dive into the world of financial coaching. What sets this program apart from other financial coach trainings is that our focus is on how to have hard conversations with members.
