ICUF Updates
Thank You for Promoting the Warren A. Morrow Scholarship
Thank you for making this year's Warren A. Morrow Memorial Scholarship a success! More than 400 credit union members throughout Iowa applied for one of the six scholarships up for grabs. The essay judging is in progress and winners will be announced in the coming weeks.

Support the Film Broke, Busted and Disgusted
Join the more than 15 Iowa credit unions that have pledged a combined $40,000 of financial support in order to distribute the Broke, Busted and Disgusted documentary to Iowa schools. If you or your credit union are interested in supporting the film, click here.

Host a Local Money Smart Week READ Event at Your Credit Union
For the second year, ICUF will be supporting Money Smart Kids READ - a statewide program that will provide books to credit unions or libraries that host a local READ event during Money Smart Week, April 23-30.

For each event, designed for parents and their children in fourth grade or older, ICUF will provide 20 copies of books about entrepreneurship. Hosts will also be provided with promotional materials including a news release template and READ posters.

To host an event, credit unions are encouraged to utilize space on location or to partner with their local library.

For more information or to host a READ event, please contact Joanne Kuster, Money Smart Week Chair, at 515.991.5632. For more information regarding Money Smart Week, click here.

If your credit union hosts a READ event or takes part in other Money Smart Week activities, please share your photos and information about the event with us! We would love to help spread the word.

Save the Date: ICUF Golf Classic June 15
Save the date for this year's Iowa Credit Union Foundation Golf Classic on Wednesday, June 15 at Brown Deer Golf Club in Coralville. Iowa credit union leaders and sponsors will compete in a four-person best shot golf outing to support ICUF. Click here for more information.

Volunteer to Help at 2016 Benefit Night
Each year at the annual Iowa Credit Union Convention, we celebrate the credit union philosophy of "people helping people" at ICUF Benefit Night. In 2015, ICUF raised more than $40,000 at the Iowa Credit Union Convention through sponsorships, raffle ticket sales, the silent auction, Benefit Night ticket sales and free will donations. To make this year's event better than ever, we need your help!  Contact Jaimie Miller at 800.860.6180 x3001 if you're interested in volunteering on the evening of Sept. 15 during the Iowa Credit Union Convention in Cedar Rapids.
