Support Minimizing Iowan Student Debt - Broke, Busted and Disgusted
ICUF is proud to announce a new partnership with Adam Carroll, CEO of National Financial Educators, to promote awareness and education on student debt through Carroll's new documentary Broke, Busted and Disgusted.

More than 70 percent of Iowans have student debt, making Iowa sixth in the nation in terms of average student loan indebtedness. The goal of the partnership between ICUF, Iowa credit unions and the Broke, Busted and Disgusted team, is to empower the next generation to make informed financial decisions and change the approach adults take when talking to kids about pursuing higher education. The goal is to show the documentary at all 386 high schools across the state of Iowa.

By supporting this film, we hope to minimize the overall borrowing by Iowa students in the spirit of ICUF's mission to help Iowans build wealth, responsibility and independence. For more information on how to support the effort to bring the film to every high school in Iowa,

  • Community 1st Credit Union
  • North Star Community Credit Union
  • Town and Country Credit Union
Think of ICUF During Season of Giving
ICUF continues to lead the most active and largest asset building IDA program in the State of Iowa, with $1.6 million dollars matched. ICUF has provided nearly $600,000 for grants to assist families affected by natural disasters, $115,000 invested in financial literacy efforts and more than $100,000 for educational scholarships.

None of this is possible without the collective, charitable support from donors like you. All donations make a difference in serving ICUF's mission of helping Iowans build wealth, responsibility and financial independence.

As you consider your charitable giving this holiday season, please consider our Iowa credit union members and their families who are in need by making a gift to ICUF.
